BISscore

BISscore is a program for efficient portfolio analysis. It is an integrated module of the BISonXP product line.

Scoring is a method for evaluating criteria to determine utility values or the profitability of different alternatives. Within BISscoring, the alternatives represent objects (asset groups), and the criteria describes the characteristics of the alternative(s). The criteria required for the evaluation of alternatives must be defined previously with regard to the defined target values.

Eventually, it has to be detailed by its sub-criteria.

For the scoring of asset groups, there are two different kinds of criteria: object and market criteria. The different profitability of each criterion is expressed on a value scale. To enable a definition of the comparative profitability, the objects and markets are allocated to a single value on the scale. The importance of a single criterion is indicated by weighting factors and the results are transformed by an identical evaluation level (cluster). So they can be compared. Afterwards, the results are presented in a graphical portfolio, enabling easier evaluation.
